Sally Steele I Sacred Circles Terms, Cancellation & Refund Policy

By purchasing, registering for, or participating in any offering provided by Sally Steele and Sacred Circles, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the following Terms, Conditions, and Policies.
1. Scope of Application
These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases, registrations, bookings, digital products, retreats, workshops, classes, circles, coaching programs, memberships, and other offerings provided by Sally Steele through www.sallysteele.ca and any associated booking, registration, payment, or sales platforms.
2. Eligibility
Participants must be at least 18 years of age to register for retreats, workshops, circles, trainings, coaching programs, or other in-person offerings unless otherwise stated.
Digital products and online offerings may be purchased by individuals aged 16 years or older.
Sally Steele reserves the right to refuse participation or cancel a registration if eligibility requirements are not met.
3. Pricing & Payment
All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD).
Payment is due at the time of registration unless a payment plan is offered. Where payment plans are available, participants agree to complete all scheduled payments according to the selected plan.
Payments are processed securely through third-party providers. Sally Steele does not store or have access to complete financial information.
Failure to complete payment may result in suspension of access to digital offerings or cancellation of participation in an event, retreat, or program.
4. Cancellation, Refund & Transfer Policy
Circles, Workshops & Events
Full refund for cancellations made 14 days or more before the event.
50% refund for cancellations made at least 48 hours before the event, unless otherwise stated for a specific offering (such as a multi-day retreat).
No refunds are available for cancellations made less than 48 hours before the event.
5. Transfers
If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another person. Please notify Sally Steele of the participant's name before the event.
If there is a waitlist and your space can be filled, a refund may be offered at Sally Steele's discretion, regardless of timing.
6. Late Arrivals & No-Shows
To honour the container being created for all participants, late arrivals may not be admitted once an event has begun.
Refunds are not available for late arrivals or no-shows.
7. Weather, Emergencies & Unforeseen Circumstances
If severe weather, facilitator illness, venue issues, or other unforeseen circumstances require an event to be rescheduled, your registration will automatically transfer to the new date.
If you are unable to attend the rescheduled event, a full refund will be provided.
8. Minimum Participation Requirements
Some events require a minimum number of participants. If the minimum is not met, Sally Steele reserves the right to reschedule or cancel the event.
In this case, participants may choose either:
A full refund; or
Transfer of their registration to a future offering.
9. Digital Products
Due to the nature of digital products, downloadable resources, recordings, courses, memberships, and online content, all digital sales are final and non-refundable after 30 days, unless otherwise required by law.
If technical difficulties prevent access to purchased materials, reasonable efforts will be made to resolve the issue or provide an alternative solution.
10. How to Request a Cancellation
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to:

5. Retreat-Specific Cancellation Policy
Due to the advance planning, venue commitments, accommodation bookings, catering arrangements, and other expenses associated with retreat experiences, retreat registrations are subject to the following cancellation terms unless otherwise stated on the retreat registration page:
A non-refundable deposit may be required to secure your place.
Cancellations made 60 days or more before the retreat start date will receive a refund of all amounts paid, less the non-refundable deposit.
Cancellations made 30–59 days before the retreat start date will receive a 50% refund of amounts paid, less the non-refundable deposit.
Cancellations made less than 30 days before the retreat start date are not eligible for a refund.
If your space can be filled from a waitlist, Sally Steele may, at her discretion, offer a partial or full refund.
Participants are strongly encouraged to purchase travel and cancellation insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances.
If a retreat must be cancelled by Sally Steele, participants will receive a full refund of retreat fees paid or may choose to transfer their registration to a future retreat.
6. Retreats, Workshops & In-Person Offerings
1Registration secures a place in the selected offering.
Participants are responsible for arranging transportation, travel insurance, accommodations (where not included), and any personal expenses unless otherwise specified.
Sally Steele reserves the right to make reasonable changes to schedules, locations, accommodations, facilitators, or programming when necessary.
In the unlikely event that an offering must be cancelled by Sally Steele, participants will receive a full refund of amounts paid or the option to transfer to a future offering.
Sally Steele is not responsible for travel expenses, accommodation expenses, lost wages, or other incidental costs incurred by participants.
7. Delivery of Digital Products & Services
Digital products, courses, recordings, memberships, guides, and online programs will be delivered through email, downloadable links, online portals, or membership platforms.
Participants are responsible for providing an accurate email address and maintaining access to that account.
Reasonable technical support will be provided when needed.
8. Privacy
Sally Steele is committed to protecting personal information in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy legislation.
Information collected may be used for:
Processing purchases and registrations
Delivering products and services
Event administration
Participant communications
Newsletters, updates, and promotional emails
Participants may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe link included in emails.
9. Health & Participation Disclaimer
All offerings are intended for educational, wellness, personal growth, and self-development purposes.
They are not a substitute for medical advice, psychological treatment, diagnosis, psychotherapy, or healthcare services.
Participation in yoga, meditation, movement practices, workshops, retreats, circles, coaching, and related activities is voluntary and undertaken at the participant's own risk.
Participants are responsible for consulting appropriate healthcare professionals regarding any physical, mental, emotional, or medical concerns before participating.
By registering, participants acknowledge responsibility for their own health, wellbeing, choices, and actions.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sally Steele, Sacred Circles, facilitators, contractors, employees, and representatives shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, expense, delay, inconvenience, or claim arising from participation in any offering, program, retreat, workshop, class, coaching service, or digital product.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
